The increase in population in cities and the growth of urbanization have led to an increase in energy consumption. Residential buildings are one of the main energy consumers in cities. It is therefore important to optimize energy consumption to reduce costs and greenhouse gas emissions.
To this end, we have designed a mobile application to help building residents optimize their energy consumption.
We have conceptualized a mobile application that allows residents to track and control their energy consumption in real time. The application connects to the building's electricity meters and home automation sensors to retrieve energy consumption data.
The application includes features to help residents save energy, such as peak hour tips, alerts for appliances that consume a lot of energy, and advice on energy-efficient electronic equipment.
Residents can view this data on their phone and track their energy consumption over time. They can also control their appliances remotely within the application.
I worked in a team of 3 UX/UI designers, 2 Art Directors, 2 developers, and 2 salespeople. I have notably taken part in the concept, feature list, tree structure, mockup, UI kit, user journey as well as advice for a more eco-responsible application.
